Stichting Veronica has an efficient organisation. Its office team consists of two media investors and an assistant. The executive board has three members, while a supervisory board oversees and advises the board.

The team strikes a strong balance between knowledge and experience in media on the one hand, and finance and entrepreneurship on the other. With short lines of communication, we are able to move quickly when discussing new investment opportunities.

Lot studied Business Administration with a specialisation in finance and developed an early fascination with media and its influence on society. In her current role as Executive Director at V-Ventures, her extensive experience in the media sector and her expertise in investment management come together.

Joep has a background at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, and investment. This shaped his practical approach to media sustainability. He focuses on new business models, efficiency and MediaTech.

Yoeri Albrecht

Chair of the Board

As Chair of the Board of Stichting Veronica, Yoeri is able to draw on this experience to make a difference. At Stichting Veronica, we have the expertise and the resources to support the independent press and the wider journalistic ecosystem, especially where democracy is under pressure.

Treasurer

Eline is an impact investor through and through. She has more than twenty years of experience in venture capital and private equity, both in Europe and Africa. Her focus is on supporting start-ups and scaling businesses that aim to make the world a better place, through both capital and advice.

Board Member

Journalism is Ronald’s first love. He brings his extensive practical experience to his role as a board member. It enables him to assess the urgency of applications and to evaluate the added value of technological innovations for the sector. His priority is to safeguard the balance between people and technology.

Annelies van der Pauw

Supervisory board member

Annelies has a long career in law and extensive governance experience across business, culture and media. As a member of Stichting Veronica’s Supervisory Board, she brings expertise in corporate law, strategy and governance.

Coen is an economist who has held various academic and executive positions, including as director of the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and Distinguished Professor at Utrecht University. As Chair of Stichting Veronica’s Supervisory Board, he brings extensive experience in economics, governance and societal issues.
