Lot Carlier studied Business Administration with a specialisation in finance and developed an early fascination with media and its influence on society. She has held strategic and leadership roles at organisations including VNU, Sanoma Publishers and other media companies, where she gained experience in strategic transformation, digital innovation and team development. Together with a partner, she also co-founded the Africa Media Ventures Fund, an investment firm focused on supporting media entrepreneurs in Kenya and Ghana. In her current role as Executive Director at V-Ventures, her extensive experience in the media sector and her expertise in investment management come together.
